The “Renascer” Project - After war integration programmme

In the war context Angola suffered a major disruption of its social fabric, of government structures and institutions, of moral and civic values, and the deterioration of the family livelihood. With an increasing number of families living in the periphery of Luanda with less than a Dollar a day the attention and childcare are not a priority. On the other hand, Luanda has hosted a large number of IDP's (Internally Displaced Persons), including children, which ended upfinding on the streets their only possibility for survival.

In addition to these two factors, it's now beginning to emerge, andwith a rising trend, orphaned children, victims of HIV. It is this environment that we want to intervene, in a way to give to these children some kind of hope.
